A good gin and tonic balances the bitterness of tonic water against the aromatics of the gin. A London dry gin (such as Beefeater), Plymouth or Bombay work well. London dry gins will be more straightforward in flavour while Plymouth gin will be a bit more aromatic make your choose and enjoy.

• 30ml of Gin
• Tonic water

1. Fill some ice into a tall ball glass
2. Add gin
3. Top up your glass with tonic water
4. Garnish with slice of dehydrated lime/orange/cucumber
